Rosamund Pike is to play the leading lady in Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright's new comedy The World's End.
The film, directed by Edgar and starring Simon and Nick, has been kept top secret, but has been described as an epic pub crawl with a science fiction twist.
Rosamund will begin filming with the Spaced stars next month, according to The Daily Mail.
It is the final film in the friends' The Flavours Cornetto trilogy, after zombie movie Shaun Of The Dead and cop comedy Hot Fuzz.
It is so called because in both the previous films the characters played by Nick Frost buys a Cornetto ice cream.
English rose Rosamund has played comic characters in An Education and Johnny English Reborn.
She will next be seen playing a lawyer opposite Tom Cruise in thriller One Shot.
