Sarandon teams up with daughter

Susan Sarandon might be acting alongside her daughter in Mother's Day
Susan Sarandon could be reunited with her daughter on the big screen in drama Mother's Day.
Art may soon imitate life for the Thelma And Louise star and Eva Amurri Martino, as they are both set to appear in Paul Duddridge's upcoming film about the relationships between mums and daughters, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Although their specific roles have yet to be announced, the plot is tipped to follow 12 pairs of mothers and daughters over the course of a Mother's Day.
The duo previously worked together on 2002 comedy The Banger Sisters, where Eva, Susan's daughter from her romance with Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri, played her daughter.
Eva - who has appeared in TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Californication and House MD - has also played a younger version of Susan's character, Helen Prejean, in Dead Man Walking.
Susan, who won an Oscar for her performance in Dead Man Walking, will next be seen in comedy Jeff, Who Lives At Home alongside Jason Segel and Ed Helms, and the Wachowski siblings' Cloud Atlas, which boasts a star-studded cast including Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Tom Hanks and Jim Broadbent.
The actress won an Oscar for Dead Man Walking after four other nominations. Her storied career includes work in such films as The Lovely Bones, Thelma And Louise, The Witches Of Eastwick, Pretty Baby and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
