Sean Astin has been cast in comedy horror movie sequel Cabin Fever: Patient Zero.
The star of Lord Of The Rings and The Goonies will be joined by Brando Eaton and Ben Hollingsworth in the latest follow up to Eli Roth's 2003 movie about a group of students who rent a cabin in the woods and all fall victim to a flesh eating virus, Variety reports.
The latest instalment, which follows Cabin Fever 2: Spring Break, follows a stag party on a Caribbean cruise which unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical research island, where a deadly virus is unleashed.
Comic book writer Kaare Andrews is directing the film, which begins shooting in the Dominican Republic in August.
