Tatum: Magic Mike sequel in works

Channing Tatum has revealed that he has already started thinking of a Magic Mike 2.

The Step Up actor - who produced and stars alongside Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Alex Pettyfer in the stripper film, which Steven Soderbergh directed - said a sequel is in the works.

"Yes, yes and yes! We're working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger," he told Glamour.

Channing, who used to be a male stripper himself before he became an actor, revealed he was in awe of his True Blood co-star's physique.

"Joe Manganiello - he looks like he's from Spartan blood! He's how Spartans would have looked back in the day I think," he continued.

He admitted it was "weird" having his parents watch him doing his moves on screen.

"They weren't going to come to the premiere but they liked it. Dad said, 'Nothing I couldn't handle.' It was weird to hear from my parents though."

The 32-year-old also said that he would be up for playing billionaire Christian Grey in the big-screen adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey - if his wife Jenna Dewan portrayed love interest Anastasia.

"Yes [I would]. I'd only be allowed if my wife was Ana. She's read the books so I don't think she'd be impressed if she couldn't be Ana!" he added.
