Vince Vaughn is to produce and star in new action adventure Gunslingers.
The Dodgeball star has signed up to co-produce the movie with Braveheart writer Randall Wallace, Deadline reported, who will also write the script for Vince to star in.
The film is described as a fun action adventure set in present-day Los Angeles, where heroic characters from the past find themselves facing the reality of modern urban life, exploring the theme of what it means to be a hero.
The film will have two leading roles so Vince and New Regency will be looking for another action star to appear alongside him.
Vince will next be seen in the Frat pack Neighbourhood watch comedy The Watch, due out in August, and is currently filming The Internship with his Wedding Crashers co-star Owen Wilson and director Shawn Levy.
